Talmage loves playing basketball.
Jumping on my bed when I am changing my sheets. He did this the entire time I was getting ready. He has yet to fall off. Knock on wood. I need to write a few things, because I am not very good at journaling lately and so I am using my blog. I had my big ultrasound last week and it was so much fun and made it feel real. They do part of it in 3D so I got to see her cute face, legs, hands, and butt. She already reminds me of Talmage. Mainly because we had to work really hard to get a good shot of her face because her hands were up the whole time. That was true for Talmage during this ultrasound too. I did finally witness the girl parts for myself. I think I was mainly convinced but now it feels for sure. No, we don't have any names right now. Names stress us out so we only talk about it on occasion. So far we have not agreed.
I am starting to show a lot it seems. I went through my closet today and found that I have nothing that fits comfortably or is flattering (or should I say flattening) to me. All my maturnity clothes are summer stuff. I need to find some maturnity jeans that are cute, comfortable, and actually long enough. I tried a bunch on at motherhood and they were all floods. I'd also like advice on how to grow your stomach, but not your butt and arms. They seem to expand ever more each day. Can you tell cleaning out my closet didn't do me any good!
Talmage is finally well. He was congested which turned into an ear infection. He was put on an anitbiotic. Once he finished it 5 days later he was fevering again. I took him in and sure enough the ear infection was back. More antibiotics... but a few days later when he didn't seem better and continued to run a high fever I took him in yet again. The Dr. decided that the second infection was resistant to amoxicillin (which is what he was put on the first and second time) and so we got some completely different medicine and he finally slept through the night last night. I love an entire night of sleep. Truly, it's a beautiful thing. I have been wondering what I am going to do with a newborn. I have spent $80 just on co-pays this month. Hmm... didn't budget for that! Grateful to have insurance though so I feel like I can go to the dr. if needs be.
I am starting to get the forgetfullness that accompanies pregnancy. Honestly I forget things that I knew an hour ago. I don't even know how many weeks I am right now. I can't remember. Oh, well it's fun to be expecting a new little one. Especially with all of you have such cute little babies lately. We are only 4 months away. That is going to fly. I hope you are all doing well. Thanks for letting me write so much.

I am so excited for you. I'm glad to hear that you are finally starting to show:) I'd love to see a picture of your cute belly. I am hoping that I might get to see you in a couple of weeks. We are coming to Utah for Spring break.
I got an awesome pair of maternity levis at the Gap (for my last pregnancy). Kind of pricey, but totally worth it because they are nice and long. Some Gap stores carry maternity, but you may have to order them online.
Sorry Talmage has been sick--that's no fun. And congrats on seeing your little girl! I'm so excited for you. You should post a pregnancy picture soon--I like to see the progress. (Or maybe it's that misery loves company so seeing other pregnant people is consoling.)
Ok, Marinda. I have not been to great at keeping up on people's blogs. I just found out you're having a baby! Yay! Congrats to you guys. Sorry to hear little Talmage is sick. I have had strep this past week and am absolutely paranoid Ava is going to get it. Ugggg...
Hope you're well!
It is so fun to read an update on you and your family. I am barely beginning to recover from the pregnancy effects, I totally sympathize with you. I am excited for you to have a girl. Our little girls will only be about 5 months difference in age. Very cool!
Hey girl! Sorry I'm behind on my blog reading! As far as pregnancy tips go I'm absolutely in LOVE with my Bella Band (motherhood has their own version that's a few $ cheaper, but I can't vouch for the quality because I haven't used it). It was 100% worth the investment! I'm still wearing my regular jeans at 6 1/2 months, just leaving them unbuttoned and the bella band holds them up perfectly and you can't even tell. I never had success with maternity pants with the other 3 so this has made this pregnancy that much better! Good luck!
