While in St. George we went up to Pine Valley where the Gardners were gracious hosts. (That includes Buddy, pictured below). It was a piece of heaven. Not only was the tempature pleasant but there was lots for the kids to do. We had so much fun and are planning on making this a common occurance. (Hope we are welcome ;) )
Talmage a Maya couldn't wait for a saddle, they wanted to ride the horse NOW!
Adeline had love-hate feelings for the horses. As long as she was on their back she loved them. But put her eye to eye and she was not too happy. I will say she's a natural though. I see a rodeo queen crown in her future!
Ahh, and what will make a little boy happier than MUD, and lots of it, and free reign in it? (His mom is just thrilled that he is busy and being nice.)

I agree COMPLETELY!! It was such a fun day and a nice change in the usual summer activities. It didn't hurt that all the kids had so much fun (no fighting or crying!).
