This should probably come with a belly photo but I hate the shirt I'm wearing today. I went to my 36 week appointment today. The Dr. checked me and can I just say... (no I probably can't) but I was crawling up the table and sternly asking, "what are you doing?" all the while wincing in pain and trying not to tear up. Needless to say he found my cervix and I am NOW dilated to 1.5 centimeters and 60% effaced.
I asked what the likelihood of going into labor on my own, having been induced twice at 40 weeks. He said, "Judging by your cervix, not likely". So I'm probably going to schedule this baby's birth. Anyway, I'll do a belly shot soon. Here's to Cervixes! OUCH!

I HATED being "checked." Besides the immediate pain, its sore all day!! At least its almost over, hang in there!
You are so close! When do you think you'll be induced? I had a similar appointment (cervical change and dilation) and Maisy was born 2 days later. You never know! preemies are overrated though- hang on just a little longer :) Can't wait to "meet" him.
