If you are anything like us our storage room has quickly filled up with... kids clothes.  Tubs and tubs of clothes that they have outgrown.  We got tubs for boy clothes and tubs for girl clothes.  Now that our littlest boy was born in the opposite season as our oldest we get to add even more boy clothes to the mix.  I think people have 8-10 children just to get use out of all the clothes in any and all seasons.  Anyway, I have recently discovered the SPACE BAG (found at Walmart).  It has taken the contents of TWO tubs and consolidated them into ONE.  Now I not only have more room in my storage but I also have empty tubs for all my other stuff.  So really I saved money too because I don't have to buy more tubs.
What a discovery!

A few things I've learned.  1- if you sit on them while in the tub they will conform better.  2- if while sucked closed you are too rough you will puncture the bag and allow air in, defeating the purpose.  3- Duct tape fixes problem #2.  4- Stuffed animals look kind of freaky when the air is sucked out of them.  If your stuffed animals include a glow worm it will glow while sucked.  5- The bigger sizes are the ones to get.  I can't think of anything small I need smaller!

So far I've only done clothes (couldn't keep the stuffed animals sucked) but I plan to get more for pillows, blankets, etc.
