STAYcation

This year it worked out better for us to have a family STAYcation.  There really is so much to do around here.  July 21-24
Thursday night we went camping.  Yes that's right.  Two adults and three kids, 3 and under.  Crazy, you say?  Not when you camp in Morgan, in grandma and grandpa's back yard.  We had a BBQ dinner, pitched a tent, and roasted marshmallows.  We had lots of laughs in the tent before I gave up and took Adeline inside with Rigdon and me.
Friday we had a yummy breakfast and then headed to the Roy Aquatic Center for some swimming fun.  The kids had a blast.  Unfortunately I don't have any pictures from these events.
Brandon and Talmage went to a dollar movie while the little ones took a nap.
That night we went to KFC and the Bountiful Handcart Parade.
Saturday we went up the This is the Place Park and enjoyed their Pioneer Day festivities.  The following pictures are from there.

The last three are of the staged bank robbery.
We had Rigdon take a nap and the neighbors and took the older two to see Cars 2.

We were super busy and had a great time.  We are excited for future STAYcations.  As the kids get older the options expand.  Not to mention sleeping in our own beds can't be beat.  We saved money and travel time.  Adeline did end up a little sick but was a trooper on Saturday.
