I love Rigdon and I am so grateful for him. He brings a lot to our family that wouldn't be there otherwise. He is silly and adorable, mischievious and messy. He is smart and stubborn, skinny and wild. Rigdon being 2 means that he is all sorts independent. He feeds himself, brushes his teeth (mainly eats toothpaste), he is not afraid to wander off, and wants to do puzzles and coloring all by himself but with a lot of mom's help. He talks a ton and when he pouts it sounds like he is talking with his teeth closed, kind of mumbly. He loves being a BIG brother and loves to hold and talk to Everlee. He pronounces her name Eberlee, and it usually is done in a sing song sort of way. It's so cute.
On Rigdon's birthday he would shout out "presents" whenever anyone said happy birthday. He carefully opened everything. One square inch at a time, giving it to someone with the instruction to put it in the garbage. You can imagine... rip... "garbage".... rip...."garbage". It took some time. He so wants to be involved in Talmage and Adeline's play. He loves legos and playing babies because of it.
He's two!
Being child #3 means he is never alone and constantly competing for loves and attention. We love Rigdon and hope he knows it. He still takes a 2 hour nap every day and is motivated to do so by getting his binky in bed. He LOVES trains, Cars, fire engines. He has discovered playing in the snow and sledding. He crys when we leave him in nursery but is so happy when we pick him up and he tells us all about what he did. He weighs 25 pounds and I put him back on whole milk to try and bulk him up. He is happy healthy and the best Rigdon ever!
