Halloween 2007

We love this time of year. I love the tempatures, the leaves, and the anticipation for the holidays. I don't really care for the STRESS associated with Halloween. It all started when we were dating and we dressed up as Aladdin and Jasmine, we have been dressing up for Halloween ever since. The next year (our first year married) I was a scarecrow and Brandon was a super hero. Imagine Brandon in my track tights, my red shirt, some blue underwear and a sheet as his cape. Needless to say we kind of threw it together but it has gotten more intense. Our first year in our home Brandon wore football pads and was a mummy. He seemed larger than life. The next year his costume was probably 8 feet tall and headless. (see picture). So this year... what to do?? It stresses me out! The expectation from our neighbors and friends is pressure. It would help if Brandon would tell me what he wants to be but he just leaves it up to me. Yes, he is at my mercy when it comes to costumes. This year we had Talmage to dress up but we kept it simple, thanks to my mom, and he wasn't tortured. We want him to grow up liking Halloween. Okay so Brandon was a witch on rollerblades to give the flying effect. Again he was super tall. We even glued a nose on his face. Check out the pictures.

Hurray,
I'm so glad you guys have a blog now! It really helps me keep in touch better. Now we have to get Megs to make one. Awesome costume by the way! I'm just a kitty this year... a pregnant kitty.

I totally love it. I have to tell you that all month long I was thinking about what Brandon could be (Because of our conversation about his costume reputation). I'm glad that you found such a great solution. Too funny. I am excited for your blog.
