Getting Naked...
That ought to catch some interest. Luckily it's just a two year old. Unfortunately it is after he has been put to bed. He has been taking off his jammies, usually because he has peed in his diaper and wants it off. The other night I thought I heard running water, when I went to check I found him stark naked and peeing on the floor. He was so proud, to say the least. It's that look on his face that makes me want to laugh, all while wanting to scream. Needless to say after undressing a second time and again tonight he has a safety pin through the zipper of his jammies now. Hmm, at least that will keep him busy for a while. Interestingly enough both my mom and mother-in-law think this is hilarious. I guess that's the right you have earned when you've been there and done that. I love two year olds! Potty training here we come. Any tips?

That story made me laugh out loud, and fear for the same situation. I can see Thatcher doing the same thing. Right now as soon as his diaper is off he runs to an area of the house where I can't see him and pees on the floor. Don't you love boys? Hang in there. The safety pin idea is great!
That's funny! Addie had a little stage like that. As long as we kept a onesie on her under her jammies she was okay. I had to go on amazon.com though to find sizes big enough for her. Duct tape might work too : ) good luck!
Potty training! I love that story. My advice is to follow his lead in potty training. I'd give him the chance to use the potty when you change his diaper and before he gets in the bath. If he is interested, then great. If he isn't, it might be more frustrating than helpful. If he thinks it is his idea, then it will go a lot more smoothly (that is how it went for us).Best wishes.
one cute idea is to put blue food coloring in the toilet and he can pee to make it turn green.
