May!

I love that it's May because now I can say, "I'm due next month", even though I really have 2 months left.  Other reasons I love May include, our anniversary, the option of going to Hawaii, Mother's Day, tulips, and planting my garden.

Update on the pregnancy...  I went to my appointment last week and gained 7 pounds in one month!  I was shocked and depressed!  In fact it has taken me this long to get over it enough to post about it.  I am only posting about it, so you can share your weight gain stories, not because I am in love with those 7 pounds.  If I didn't still have 8 weeks I would probably be more okay with it, but at this rate I'll gain 14 more pounds.  Oh, I better NOT!  I am officially sleeping with a watermelon which makes for poor sleep.  Lately I just roll around wondering if I am ever going to get comfortable.  This little girl is super active and it's fun to feel her move.  So far she has stayed away from my ribs.  She seems to be lower than Talmage was.  (I know that can still change).  She weighed 4 pounds 3 ounces.  (Not enough to account for the 7 pounds).  As of right now I am planning on going to Hawaii.  It should be a fun and interesting trip.  I plan to spend a lot of time in the pool.  I am most nervous for the flights and just being uncomfortable.  I think I'll be fine once I am there, especially if I know my limits.  I guess I just don't want to sit home and do nothing (activity and pregnancy wise) while everyone is there.  I have an appointment right before we are supposed to go so we'll see my status then.

Stay tuned for a belly picture!  I have to shower and get ready first! :)

Everyone I knew told me that they gained up until about the last month and then they didn't gain. NOT ME! I gained about 6-8 lbs everytime I went. AND I TRIED TO BE CAREFUL! It was so frustrating. I ended up gaining about 35 lbs with both pregnancy's, but lost 20 lbs by the time I had left the hospital...weird. I must have just retained alot of fluids...plus having a near- 10 lb baby helped.
Don't worry, mother nature does what she thinks is best. You will recover and lose all the baby weight quickly. You are active! Just enjoy the rest of your pregnancy and don't worry about it!

I bet you look absolutely beautiful! Don't worry about the weight cause you know you will lose it so fast. You are too motivated not too. I do want to see pictures. I am so jealous that you are going to Hawaii. I would want to go if I were you too. It would be way to sad to stay home home while everyone else is having fun.

We should do a triathlon together next summer. That would be so fun! But then again I hope to be pregnant next summer. If I am not too far along maybe I still can.
